RTA Bus and Metro

1. Avoid Traveling Without a Valid Nol Card
   • Ensure your Nol card is topped up with sufficient balance.
   • Always tap in and out properly at metro gates and bus validators to avoid fines.
2. Do Not Eat or Drink or chewing gum inside metro trains, buses, or stations is strictly prohibited.
3. Avoid sitting in seats designated for women and children, or people with special needs if you’re not eligible.
4. Disposing of trash improperly, spitting, or causing damage to RTA property can result in fines.
5. Smoking in metro stations, trains, or buses (including electronic cigarettes) is not allowed.
6. Do not enter areas marked as restricted, such as train cabins for drivers or unauthorized personnel.
7. Abusive behavior, causing disturbances, or acting in a way that could inconvenience other passengers is not tolerated.
8. Always have valid identification (e.g., Emirates ID) on you. Failing to provide it when requested can lead to fines or further issues.
9. Don’t Transport Prohibited Items such as flammable materials, sharp objects, or large bulky luggage that obstructs others are not allowed.
10. Do not loiter or sleep in stations or trains. This could be interpreted as inappropriate use of facilities.
11. Currently operating Intercity bus services are: E100 – E101 – E102 – E201 – E303 – E306 – E307 – E307A – E315 – E400 – E411 – E16 – E700 between Dubai – Abu Dhabi – Sharjah – Ajman – Hatta – Fujairah – Al Ain.
12. Route (C01) will be 24hrs.
13. Hatta Buses:
    • RTA is operating two active routes from Dubai to Hatta.
    • Route (H02), Hatta Express, from the Dubai Mall Bus Station to Hatta Bus Station. It operates from 7 AM to 7 PM daily at a frequency of two hours using deluxe coaches at a fare of AED25 per rider per journey.
    • Route (H04), Hatta Hop on Hop off. This circular route starts and ends at Hatta Bus Station and passes by four tourist landmarks (Hatta Wadi Hub, Hatta Hill Park, Hatta Dam, and the Heritage Village). It operates from 7 AM to 9 PM daily at a frequency of 30 minutes at a fare of AED2 per rider per bus stop.
14. Navigate Abu Dhabi, UAE using public transportation with ease. Buses in Abu Dhabi operate 24 hours and are fully air-conditioned. For students, there is an annual pass that allows students unlimited local and regional tours throughout the year and offers a 50% discount on city tours.
